WIPSI Awards Scholarships to 20 Indigent Students in Collaboration with Eddy and Gold Foundation

The Women in Prison Support Initiative (WIPSI) is proud to announce a momentous step towards empowering the future of our community .On Thursday, 29th February, 2024, through a collaborative effort with the Eddy and Gold Foundation, WIPSI awarded scholarships to 20 indigents students. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering positive change by promoting educational opportunities for individuals in need.

The scholarship ceremony, held at St. Louis Girls Grammar School, was a joyous occasion filled with hope and gratitude. Witnessing the beaming faces of students and their proud teachers as they received their awards was a truly heartwarming experience.

Barrister Tobi, WIPSI Coordinator, delivered a powerful and inspiring speech, emphasizing the pivotal role education plays in both crime prevention and individual empowerment.
